Country Music Hall of Famer, Golden Globe winning actor and songwriter of some of the most beloved songs in the American songbook, Kris Kristofferson is a renaissance man of the highest order.   Born in Brownsville, Texas as a military brat, Kris (born Kristoffer) Kristofferson moved around quite a bit before settling in San Mateo, California where he would graduate from high school.
