From Motown to Miley Cyrus, pop hits get a retro-cool big-band makeover courtesy of Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox. Bradlee's musical alchemy has been viewed on the ensemble's YouTube channel well over 450 million times -- and it's nothing compared to their amazing live shows. The rotating cast of singers, musicians and dancers have an uncanny ability to take a contemporary song and reincarnate it into a vintage-flavored standard from the last century. Miley's "We Can't Stop," Radiohead's "Creep," Lorde's "Royals" and other top hits become doo-wop ditties, ragtime standards, sultry '70s jams and more. PMJ's concert at Microsoft Theater in downtown L.A. is designed to evoke a glamorous classic Hollywood experience, reminiscent of a speakeasy, with swells in vintage threads swilling Prohibition-era cocktails and variety show-style entertainment featuring special guests.
