San Francisco Ballet Brings Christopher Wheeldon’s Cinderella to D.C.
Back to Results
The world-renowned San Francisco Ballet company performs acclaimed choreographer Christopher Wheeldon's Cinderella, a visually imaginative production inspired by the Brothers Grimm and Perrault fairy tales. This magical take on the beloved children's story is a co-production with the Dutch National Ballet and features Prokofiev's dramatic music, ingenious puppetry by Obie winner Basil Twist and spectacular sets and costumes. The San Francisco Chronicle noted that "all Cinderellas should look and dance as well as this one." Now's your chance to see the lavish spectacle for yourself when it leaps into the Opera House at D.C.'s John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
