Several years ago, Grammy-winning country crooner k.d. lang sent an email to prolific avant-rock singer-songwriter Neko Case and rising indie-folk star Laura Veirs on a whim. It read simply: "I think we should make a record together." The result was a collaboration that spawned their newly released case/lang/veirs, an album humbly recorded in dining rooms and backyard studios. The three acclaimed musicians are now hitting the road in support of the project, bringing their stunning harmonies and spellbinding rhythms to stages throughout the U.S. and lang's native Canada. You'll hear wistful lyricism and rich, velvety vocals when the trio comes to the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Canadian newcomer Andy Shauf sets the tone for the evening with his dreamy melodies.
